The EventTalk

In brief

The EventTalk pairs a podcast with a working editorial archive: episode pages, long-form articles from industry contributors, and profiles drawn from event production, staffing, and sports.

The Challenge

Years of unplanned publishing left duplicate pages competing against each other, weak internal linking, and no owner for technical fixes. Content was written without keyword research, so traffic gains rarely translated into leads or demo requests.

The Approach

A full technical audit identified indexing issues and duplicate content, which were consolidated and restructured around buyer intent. A new content calendar targeted high-value search terms, supported by outreach to relevant publications to build authority around key topics.

The Results

Organic traffic rose 154% in five months, and demo requests from search nearly doubled. Lumen now ranks on page one for its primary category terms, with an internal team confidently running the content system without ongoing outside help.
